Last of Us Easy 100 Percent Completion Guide
Looking for a The Last of Us 1 Trophy guide? As part of our The Last of Us 1 walkthrough, we're going to help you unlock all Trophies and show you how to get the Platinum. This Trophy roadmap will first show you how to unlock all Trophies in The Last of Us: Part I (PS5, PC) but we've also included a guide for The Last of Us Remastered (PS4) and The Last of Us (PS3). Due to the difference between Trophies, we've divided the guide into two parts. All you need to do is refer to the version you're playing for the full Trophy guide.
Please note, due to the nature of the content on this page there may be mild spoilers for The Last of Us 1's campaign. While we've endeavoured to keep the content as spoiler-free as possible, be aware that if you proceed some minor plot details may be exposed.
The Last of Us: Part I (PS5, PC) Trophy Guide
The Last of Us: Part I has a total of 29 Trophies to collect, including that all-important Platinum. In this part of our The Last of Us 1 Trophy guide, we're going to list all Trophies and how to get the Platinum in The Last of Us: Part I for PS5 and PC.
Roadmap
You can unlock all The Last of Us: Part I's Trophies in a single playthrough, although chapter select is available if you happen to miss anything. Do be aware that reloading a chapter will block out any subsequent ones, although you can get around this by loading your completed autosave after finishing the game.
Simply follow our The Last of Us 1 walkthrough to ensure you see and do everything throughout both the main campaign and its Left Behind expansion. You can play on any difficulty setting you like, including Very Light, and still get all the Trophies. Furthermore, some of the game's accessibility settings can make the gameplay even easier if you want to earn this Platinum with as little obstruction as possible.
Be aware that there are some situational Trophies that require you to complete specific actions which can be missed. They are:
- High School Escape: In Memorium
- Escape the City: Lights Out
- Sewers: Waterlogged
- Hydroelectric Dam: Left Hanging
- Hydroelectric Dam: Who's a Good Boy?
- Mallrats: Brick Master
- Fun and Games: Nobody's Perfect
- Fun and Games: Angel Knives
- Fun and Games: Skillz
- The Enemy of My Enemy: Live Bait
You can unlock any of these Trophies using chapter select, but it's a good idea to have them in mind during your first playthrough to save time. You can also make manual saves just before the sequences trigger to help you quickly reload if you make a mistake.
Missable Trophies
There are no missable Trophies in The Last of Us: Part I, as everything can be replayed through chapter select. We do advise you make a manual save during Epilogue as reloading an early chapter will block you out from previous ones. However, you can get around this by reloading your Epilogue save and then quitting back to the main menu. Alternatively, you can use your completed autosave. As long as you keep this in mind, however, there are no missable Trophies in the game.
Difficulty Trophies
There are no difficulty Trophies in The Last of Us: Part I, so you can play on whatever difficulty you feel comfortable with to unlock the Platinum, including Very Light. You'll also find a selection of accessibility options in the main menu which can make the game even easier, and none of these have an impact on the Trophies either. You can learn more about the best difficulty to select through the link.

To fully upgrade a Weapon, you will need Weapons Parts and Workbench Tools. You can find a full list of all Weapons locations and upgrades through the link. Build 'Em Up, Break 'Em Down
Silver: Upgrade and then break one of every melee weapon
As you progress through The Last of Us: Part I, you'll unlock the ability to upgrade melee weapons using Blades and Binding. Upgrading a melee weapon adds one to three additional attacks to its durability, depending on how many Training Manuals you've collected. In order to unlock this Trophy, you need to equip the upgrade using the crafting menu, and then attack enemies until the melee weapon breaks. In total there are 5 melee weapons you need to upgrade and break. They are:
- 2x4
- Baseball Bat
- Lead Pipe
- Machete
- Hatchet
While all of these melee weapons are relatively common, you won't find the sharper melee weapons until the Suburbs. Don't worry if you miss this Trophy before finishing the game, as you can always use Encounter select to try again. For example, if you missed the Machete, you can try replaying the Encounter in Ranch House, as one of the enemies upstairs has it. One thing we'd recommend is that you use your Blades and Binding sparingly throughout the campaign, as you'll need them to upgrade your melee weapons and make Shivs for Shiv Doors.
Fallen Firefly
Bronze: Find a Firefly Pendant
Discover a single Firefly Pendant to unlock this Trophy. You can find a list of all Firefly Pendants locations through the link.
Self Help
Bronze: Find one Training Manual
Discover a single Training Manual to unlock this Trophy. You can find a list of all Training Manuals locations through the link.
Savage Starlight Fan
Bronze: Find a Comic
Discover a single Comic to unlock this Trophy. You can find a list of all Comics locations through the link.
Geared Up
Bronze: Craft every Item
In order to unlock this Trophy, you'll need to craft the 6 Items in The Last of Us: Part I. You'll need to have discovered the recipe for an Item before it can be crafted, but this will come naturally through gameplay progression. You can find a list of all Items and how to craft them through the link. The full list of Items you need to craft are:
- Health Kit
- Molotov Cocktail
- Shiv
- Melee Upgrade
- Nail Bomb
- Smoke Bomb
You'll need supplies, or ingredients, in order to craft Items. You'll find these throughout the game, in drawers and on tables. Make sure you're looking everywhere in the environment and scavenging as many supplies as possible to make this Trophy much easier to complete.
In Memorium
Bronze: Pick up Frank's note after it's discarded
In High School Escape, after the big Bloater battle in the gym, you'll end up in a house with Bill and Ellie. You'll be given a little time to look around while Bill prepares the car, so grab the Note from Frank from the front room. Once in your inventory, this will trigger an Optional Conversation when you return to Bill, in which you'll give him the letter. After reading it, Frank will crumple the note up and toss it away. Walk around the car to the other side of Bill and collect it to get Note from Frank (Crumpled). Both of these contribute towards all Artefacts locations, so you'll need to get this if you're aiming for 100% completion anyway.
Lights Out
Bronze: While in stealth, turn off the spotlight generator in Pittsburgh
In Escape the City, when it's night time at the end of the chapter, you'll need to work with Henry to disable a search light. Once you take control, you'll happen upon two guards standing around a fire. Get a stealth kill on one of these and Henry will deal with the other. Then head outside to where the spotlight is on the left. Stay crouched behind the barriers and slowly move clockwise around the edge of the area, ensuring to stay out of the light of the spotlight. Once you get underneath the spotlight, pay attention to the guard who's wandering around here and wait for him to turn around and walk away. Then quickly disable the spotlight, without arousing attention, to unlock this Trophy.
Waterlogged
Bronze: Ride the sewer contraption with Henry and Sam
In the Sewers, there's a moment where you need to retrieve a wooden panel from a room behind a blocked metal gate. You then use this panel to ferry Ellie across the water so that she can power up a generator. Once Ellie's got to the generator, quickly swim back to where Sam and Henry are standing and climb aboard the metal contraption with them. Ellie will then subsequently power up the generator and you'll be hauled across to the other side, unlocking this Trophy.
Left Hanging
Bronze: Leave Ellie hanging after a job well done
In Hydroelectric Dam, there's a moment before you reach Tommy where you need to ferry Ellie from one side of the dam to the other, so that she can turn a wheel which creates a makeshift bridge for you to cross. As you cross the bridge, you'll get a prompt to high-five Ellie with the triangle button. Resist the temptation and leave her hanging to unlock this Trophy.
Who's a Good Boy?
Bronze: Pet Buckley the dog
Later on in Hydroelectric Dam, as Tommy takes you on a tour, you'll happen upon Buckley the dog and a prompt will appear to pet him. You're going to want to give him a bit of love in order to unlock this Trophy. Well, he is a good boy, after all!
Nobody's Perfect
Bronze: Played the Jak X game in Left Behind
When you're inside Raja's in Fun and Games in Left Behind, look in the back-left corner of the arcade for a cabinet inspired by Naughty Dog's PS2 arcade racer Jak X: Combat Racing. Interacting with it will trigger a cutscene as Ellie pretends to play, unlocking this Trophy.
Brick Master
Bronze: Win the brick throwing contest
In the Mallrats chapter in Left Behind, immediately after leaving the Halloween shop, you'll get into a brick throwing competition with Riley. This is quite straight forward as there are lots of bricks on the floor. Grab one straight away to be prepared and equip it, then look down at the car below and prepare to throw your brick at one of the windows when the competition starts. It's best to take your time and be accurate here, rather than rush and miss. There are six windows in total you'll need to smash, and you'll need to move to the right in order to get the angle on some of them. If you feel like Riley is about to win, reload your checkpoint and try again. Alternatively, you can make a manual save just before this competition starts in order to avoid missing this Trophy if you make a mistake.
Angel Knives
Bronze: Defeat Black Fang without getting hit
Once again in Raja's in Fun and Games in Left Behind, interact with The Turning arcade cabinet on the right. Make sure you've already got the Nobody's Perfect before triggering this sequence, because otherwise you'll need to reload the chapter. Effectively, this will trigger a minigame where you need to match the button inputs in the bottom-left corner of the screen. The game is quite lenient and you have a lot of time to push the buttons, so take your time and try to avoid any mistakes. If you fail a prompt or don't input the actions in time, you'll take damage, and you need to be flawless to get this Trophy. Fortunately, you can always reload a recent checkpoint to try again, or even make a manual save just before you interact with the arcade cabinet just to be on the safe side.
Skillz
Bronze: Win the water gun fight
At the end of Fun and Games in Left Behind, shortly after Raja's, you'll get into a water gun fight with Riley. The first skirmish here will see you simply soaking each other, but then you'll get into a best-of-three game of hide-and-seek. Effectively, all you need to do is hide somewhere on the level and wait for Riley to come to you. She's quite loud and impatient, so you shouldn't have too much difficulty seeing her coming. Of course, you can use Listen mode if you need to. Make sure your water gun is pumped and primed, and when she comes close, spray her with water. You need to get two wins to unlock the Trophy. You can always restart the checkpoint if Riley takes the lead straight away, or make a manual save to take the pressure off should you make a mistake.
Live Bait
Bronze: Use bricks or bottles to lure an infected into attacking a human
In The Enemy of My Enemy in Left Behind, shortly after finding the Artefact named Duct Recorder, you'll enter a sports shop with infected and bandits inside. There are bottles and bricks on the floor, so use one of these and aim it at the bandits. The noise will attract the attention of the infected, tempting them into attacking each other. This will unlock the Trophy. There are other opportunities to get this later on, so don't worry if you miss it first time.
